I have set up this site to write about my devotional reading of various translations.  I will comment on the readability and the “feel” of the translation. Occasionally I will comment on the translation choices if I think they are significant.

I serve as pastor of Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church, a congregation of The American Association of Lutheran Churches. I also serve as president of our seminary, American Lutheran Theological Seminary.
